Update on life

Since all of you had no idea I was even working I suppose I'll give you all an update on me! I got a job a little over a month ago as a nanny for a lady who was in my summerfield ward. Her and her husband got a divorce and she has full custody so while she works she needs someone to watch her kids. I enjoy it, but I was underestimating how difficult it would be to chase around three children all day. Theres a 6 year old, a 4(almost 5) and a 3 year old. a boy and two girls. More than likely the hardest job I've ever had. It gives me new appreciation for my nieces and nephews though, you guys raise them really well. But I work about 10-11 hours a day (I get there at about 7 in the morning and leave at 6 in the evening) at 7 dollars an hour. Its so hard but I've made almost 1000 dollars in one month. Hopefully by the time school starts I'll have enough to keep me going for a while.

Speaking of school, I've decided to go back to ISU. I miss things about it and I really miss being on my own. I'm not going to live in an apartment, I'm hoping to rent a house with some friends of mine. My work load is going to be ridiculous this year though, so I'm sorry if I don't get to come visit as much as I did last year, my trips to salt lake every so often and such. Mom and I decided the smartest thing for me to do would be to get an associates degree in general arts study. That way it wont matter what generals I took etc, I'll just be able to switch right over to a new school with the program I want. :D The only issue with that is I have to finish my generals this year and add another 6 credits onto that to get the associates. I have nasty classes like philosophy and physics and french. I'm going to die. But at least it puts me on a better path towards where I want to go.

Thats about all I have going for me right now. I work so much I rarely get to hang out with friends which is really lame considering its summer and thats how people my age are supposed to be spending their summers. But Claire's family has been out of town for the past week and she had to stay home for work. She hates to be alone so I've been staying with her. Its been really fun and convenient because the lady I work for lives right across Germann. It takes me two minutes to get there so I can sleep in a little more. Haha. Anyways, I'm home for the day to help mom pack for Bear Lake and she told me I should update this. So here ya have it! Nothing much exciting in life for me. Just work, and not looking forward to school. Haha Love you all

  3. I'm glad you found a good place to live... I might have to come see it this year! Yeah for all the money! Good luck on the class load... I'm sure you can do it. I took 18 credits one semester and it was hard but it really helped my schedule work out in the long run.
    Love you good luck!
